I have heard from multiple sources that MaryLynn Skarzenski is no longer the head women’s basketball coach at D3 Nichols College.

Skarzenski, a 2007 Nichols grad had been the head coach at her alma mater for the past four seasons, where she went 18-67 (.212). Before returning to Nichols, she worked as the head coach at both Mitchell College (CT), and Daniel Webster College (NH). In her 10-seasons as a D3 head coach, Skarzenski has compiled a 108-136 (.443) record.

As a player, Skarzenski was a four-time Commonwealth Coast Conference First Team selection and two-time Defensive Player of the Year. She also was named as the CCC’s Player of the Year & Senior Scholar Athlete of the Year following her senior season.

An official announcement on Skarzenski’s departure is expected shortly.
