Missouri State head women’s basketball coach Amaka Agugua-Hamilton announced Wednesday the addition of Bianca Webb to her staff as Director of Operations.
Webb comes to Missouri State following several years working with the Auburn University basketball programs, most recently in the same position for the AU women’s team.
Webb spent four seasons as Director of Operations for the Auburn women, during which time she helped with team travel, lodging, meals and practice logistics, assisted the head coach with the program’s budget, and served as liaison between the coaching staff and athletic administrators in various departments, including academics, equipment, facilities and marketing.
Originally from Montgomery, Ala., Webb was hired as Special Assistant to the Head Coach for the Auburn women after completing her Master’s in adult education in Fall 2016 and was promoted to Director of Operations in August 2017.
She served as a student manager for the Auburn men’s team during the final two years of her undergraduate career and moved to a graduate assistant role in that program after completing her bachelor’s in business administration with a concentration on management in Spring 2015.
Webb’s hire is contingent upon formal approval by the Missouri State University Board of Governors at its next scheduled meeting.
