NYIT seeks an Assistant Coach for its Women’s Basketball Program in accordance with NCAA, East Conference and University Rules, Regulations and Policies. Reporting to the Head Coach, this position will perform or assist with a wide variety of coaching and administrative duties in order to accomplish the goals and objectives of the team, Intercollegiate Athletics and the University.

Responsibilities include:

• Coaching, scheduling and the recruitment and selection of qualified prospective student athletes.
• Support the academic progress of student athletes.
• Schedule and conduct practices.
• Develop and implement strategies for motivating student athletes as well as monitoring the budget and community relations.
• Assist in coordinating operational aspects of the program.
