UNC-Asheville will host a 4:00pm press conference this afternoon to announce the hiring of Brenda Mock Kirkpatrick as the program’s new head coach. Kirkpatrick has been an assistant coach at the University of Florida for the past five years and is a North Carolina native. She has also been an assistant at Georgia Tech, UNC-Charlotte, and Jacksonville. We’ll pass along the official release after the presser.
