According to a source, East Carolina assistant coach Ann Hancock will be the next head coach at Wingate. She is a 1992 Wingate grad and has worked at ECU for the past two seasons. Before that, she spent 10-seasons as the head coach at UNC Wilmington (138-156) and 8-seasons as an assistant at UNC. The official announcement is expected as early as tomorrow.
