Daily Dirt – 4/3/13

A few things that I have heard today…

• I have heard that Loyola Marymount assistant Jackie Stiles has interviewed for the vacant head coach spot at Drury Uiniversity (MO). Stiles is the all-time leading scorer in NCAA Division I women’s basketball history. She also played in the WNBA after leading Missouri State to the 2001 Final Four. She is believed to be one of four finalists for the job.

• Brian Agler, the head coach of the Seattle Storm (WNBA), has been mentioned as a possible candidate at Ohio State. He has held a bunch of professional jobs over the past decade and was also the head coach at Kansas State (1993-1996) and UMKC (1988-1993).

• It sounds like Howard head coach Niki Reid Geckeler is involved at Towson. Coach G has spent the past five seasons at Howard and has put together back-to-back 20 win seasons. She played collegiately at Georgetown.
