Georgetown head women’s basketball coach Keith Brown has been placed on administrative leave pending an investigation following complaints of unprofessional conduct and inappropriate language. Assistant coach Tim Valentine has been placed on leave as well. Assistant coaches Krystal-Reeves Evans and Kenya Kirkland will coach the team in the interim.
In a statement released by the school, spokesperson Stacy Kerr said: "“Two weeks ago, concerns were raised regarding unprofessional conduct and the use of inappropriate language in coaching the Georgetown University women’s basketball team. Georgetown takes very seriously any allegations of misconduct and the university has an established review process that carefully investigates such cases.”
