I have heard from multiple people that the leader for the vacancy at Minnesota is current VCU head coach Marlene Stollings. She just wrapped up here second season at VCU and was the head coach at Winthrop before that. Apparently she has some pretty good ties to Minnesota AD Norwood Teague and associate AD Mike Ellis – they both previously worked at VCU. This could be made official any day.
