Word on the street is that Southern Oregon head coach Lynn Kennedy is the leader for the job at Portland State. Kennedy has been the head coach at SOU since 2005 – he led his squad to a 27-5 record this past season. He has also been the head coach at New Mexico Highlands, and an assistant at Idaho State and Eastern Washington. Kennedy is in the hunt to replace Sherri Murrell who was fired back in February.
