Carissa Sain Knoche has spent the past four seasons helping guide the Maroons to

an 89-19 record as an assistant coach. She will now have the chance to lead the program from the top. "We are delighted to announce that Carissa Sain Knoche has agreed to serve as Acting Head Coach effective August 1," said Acting Director of Athletics, Rosie Resch. "We have

complete confidence that she will continue the team’s momentum in an acting capacity," said Resch.

"I’m excited to serve in this capacity for the team as we continue to move the program

forward," said Sain Knoche

A three-time All-UAA pick, Sain Knoche finished her career as CMU’s sixth-leading all-time
