The successful candidate will be expected to:
* Coach and administer a highly competitive Basketball program which includes game, practice, budget management, scheduling and coordination of travel
* Ensure that all travel reimbursement documents are submitted in accordance with the University Travel Policy
* Monitor Satisfactory Academic Progress of student athletes
* Scout and recruit quality student athletes
* Abide by all NCAA, SWAC and University rules and regulations
* Promote the program within the community and local area through public appearances and taking part in departmental fund raising activities.
* Other duties as assigned
