HEAD WOMEN’S BASKETBALL COACH-Saint Katherine College, an Orthodox Christian College, with an independent non-affiliated Athletic Program, located in San Diego County is currently hiring for the following position:
Women’s Basketball Coach This position will have a yet to be determined job responsibility in the athletic department.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to: recruiting, budgeting, travel planning, fundraising, academic monitoring, facility acquisition and oversight, attendance at all department meetings, , practice and game management, oversight of assistant coaches, compliance and any other aspects pertinent to the position. The job assignment will carry a 2nd title and responsibility including: Sports Training, Compliance, Sports Information, Facility Management, Campus Recruitment, Athletic Academic Advisor, Department Fundraiser, or Assistant Athletic Director. The position is a 12 month appointment. Minimum requirements: For Head Coaches-Bachelor’s Degree and previous coaching experience (preferably college). Coaches with ability to teach in our Applied Physiology and Kinesiology program preferred. Assistant Coaches-Candidates need experience participating or coaching in subject sport at a minimum high school level.
