St. Joesph’s College (ME) defeated Maine-Machias earlier this week. For Head Coach Mike McDevitt ’83, the victory was an historic one as the triumph counted as the 400th of his 21 seasons as the leader of the Saint Joseph’s College women’s basketball program. He is now 400-160 (.714) as the Monks’ skipper and is the third coach in SJC Athletics history – joining baseball Head Coach Will Sanborn ’86 (573) and former men’s basketball Head Coach Rick Simonds (466) – to reach the 400-victory plateau.
