Wayne State College (WSC) is seeking a qualified applicant for a Graduate Assistant in Women’s Basketball. This is a 10-month appointment with the opportunity of renewal after the first year. WSC is a NCAA Division II institution that supports 15 varsity sports. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to assisting head coach with practice, and academic progress, field maintenance, strength and condition, recruiting, and other duties as assigned by the Head Coach.
This position will report directly to the Head Coach and is expected to adhere to NCAA and NSIC regulations as well as the policies and procedures set forth by the WSC Athletic Department.
All staff members are expected to model a high level of character, self-discipline and integrity which is associated with all members of the Volleyball program.
Consideration for Graduate Assistantships is given only to applicants who plan to earn the graduate degree at WSC. Candidates must have a scholastic record above average, athletic experience, and appropriate recommenda-tions.
